Automatic Scheduling of Standard Recurring Journal Entries

For a Standard Recurring Journal Entry where the accounts and amounts remain fixed each month, is there a supported way to schedule the automatic generation of the recurring journal without requiring the user to manually upload or submit the journal for each accounting period?

Most of the documentation I have found on scheduling recurring journals appears to be for formula-based recurring journals. Please confirm whether this scheduling capability can also be used for Standard Recurring Journal Entries, or if there is another standard functionality available to automatically generate fixed-amount recurring journals on a monthly schedule.
