Release Hold on Sales Order Header via REST API – Maximum Orders per Request

Hi Team,

We are using the Order Management REST API:

/fscmRestApi/resources/11.13.18.05/salesOrdersForOrderHub/action/releaseHold

to release header-level holds on sales orders.

The documentation provides examples of releasing holds on multiple sales orders in a single request using the holdRequests array, but we couldn't find any information regarding the maximum number of sales orders that can be included in a single API request. [docs.oracle.com]

Could anyone please clarify:

  • Is there a documented limit on the number of sales order headers that can be submitted in a single releaseHold request?
  • What is the recommended batch size for processing header hold releases?
