Oracle Self Service Requisition is bringing a lot of items during the item search

Summary: When we are searching for item system is bringing a lot of items but we don't undertand the logic. Example. We enter the PO Categories and system is bringing a lot of item that do not include that category…Can someone explain that is the logic.

We are using BPA (Blanket Purchase Agreement).
