Request to re-enable disabled Always Free A1 instance after reducing usage to 2 OCPU / 12 GB

in OCI - General 1 comment

Hello,

My remaining Oracle Cloud Always Free Ampere A1 instance is currently disabled and cannot be started.

Previously, I had two VM.Standard.A1.Flex instances, each configured with 2 OCPUs and 12 GB of memory.

I have already terminated one of those instances, so my current total A1 usage is now:

  • Region: ap-singapore-1
  • Shape: VM.Standard.A1.Flex
  • OCPU: 2
  • Memory: 12 GB
  • Total A1 usage in the tenancy: 2 OCPUs / 12 GB RAM

Therefore, my current usage is within the updated Always Free A1 limit.

However, when I try to start the remaining instance using OCI Cloud Shell, I receive the following error:

IncorrectState: Instance is disabled and will not accept any action requests. Please contact customer support to reenable.
