Journey assigned to manager getting triggered to Manager's Manager.

Summary:

We have a Journey called Meta Competency Framework, in which the Task Named " Assign Meta Competencies for this Year" is assigned to Managers to assign competencies of their direct reportees. It was functioning correctly until we customized the FYI notification trigger for the Manager using the Alert Composer. Since then, when the Journey is assigned to the Line Manager, the FYI notification is sent to the Line Manager’s manager instead of the Line Manager, which is incorrect.

The Performer for this task is Line Manager as shown in the below image.
