Affected Party Spotlight Template: Email missing in HRHD Detail Emp Flow

Summary:

I'm configuring the Affected Party Spotlight Template. I follow the instructions here in the tips and consideration to display the email:

For the HRHD Detail Agent Flow it all works great, and displays correctly like so:

If I do the same for the HRHD Detail Emp Flow it does not work:

I notice that there is no variable SpotlightAffectedPartyEmail for the action chain in that page, but after adding it, it does not work.

Are there different steps to display email on the employee request page?
