Can Buyer Planning Be Used Without Enabling Replenishment Planning?

Hello Oracle Community,

We are evaluating the Buyer Planning functionality in Oracle Supply Chain Planning and would like to clarify its dependency on Replenishment Planning.

Our understanding from recent Redwood documentation is that Buyer Planning is available for Supply Plans, Demand and Supply Plans, and Replenishment Plans. However, we would like confirmation on the following:

  1. Can Buyer Planning be used with Supply Planning without enabling or licensing Replenishment Planning?
  2. Are there any prerequisites, profile options, privileges, or feature flags required to use Buyer Planning independently?
  3. Are there any functional limitations when using Buyer Planning without Replenishment Planning (for example, planned order grouping, release recommendations, price break analysis, or purchase order creation)?
