Taleo esignature for DOT Documents

Hello,
We are configuring Taleo 10 for all hiring at our company, including positions subject to DOT regulations. There is some question within our compliance group about the Taleo esignature functionality, and if it meets the "validation" standard in the new regulations from earlier this year.
Is there anyone who manages hiring for DOT positions in Taleo utilizing esignature for required documents? We would love to hear from another company who have done this successfully to help bolster our case for eliminating as many paper documents as possible.
