Gender change in Demographic Info doesn't allow entering an Effective Start Date
Hello,
We're testing the Personal Details / Demographic Info page and noticed a different behavior between Marital Status and Gender.
When updating Marital Status, Oracle displays the Effective Start Date field and allows us to specify the date from which the change should take effect.
However, when updating Gender, the page doesn't display any date field and the transaction seems to use the current effective date automatically.
Our questions are:
- Is this the expected standard behavior for Gender?
- Is Gender managed as a correction rather than a date-effective update?
- How are customers managing cases where a Gender change must be recorded with a specific effective date different from today's date?
