How can I reserve "parts" in OFS and synch it up with Fusion Inventory

We have two scenarios:

  1. Service Work Order lists out parts (serialized / non-serialized) which are available with the Field Technician. We want to "reserve" these parts and synch it up with Fusin Inventory, so that they cannot be picked by any other transactions - transfer order / sales order / service work order
  2. There are some expensive parts with the Field Technicians which cannot be used without a proper approval. These need to show up as "reserved" in fusion inventory

Yes, I understand we can have a different subinventory, but that is not an option in our case. We want to leverage the "Reservation" functionality of Fusion Inventory.
