Restriction on the Back out Process if the Payroll is run

Summary:

Customer is using Payroll Module as well as Compensation Module. The Expectation is Backout process should not back out the salary data as well element entry data, if payroll process is completed.

I think the ask is genuine. But is there anyway to achieve?
