Work Order Component Consumption by GOP

Summary:

Our client strictly follows Oracle GOP for sales order commitements. They started using GOP for work order components and observed that component consumption happens with planning data collections.

Are there any configurations to enable online work order component consumption? Does it happen at work order creation or release?

Which table stores the component consumption?

How system will avoid dupilcate consumption when we have a work order which will fulfill the supply to a sales order?. Imagine that sales order got originally scheduled using BOL and components got consumed.
