Refresh Indexes for SCC After Upgrade and after P2T

Please confirm on below SCC related index creation :

  1. Oracle Search indexes are automatically re-ingested with release upgrades. You must not re-ingest the existing Oracle Search indexes manually
  2. Is it true that search indexes are not part of P2T and will not be exported during the P2T process and you must run the initial data ingestion scheduled process for every created index after P2T (production-to-test) process? do we need to add these index creation steps to P2T checklist ?
