"Print All Selections" POV Dimension Member Selected by User

Summary:

I am trying to build a report that leverages the "Print All Selections" POV dimension option to allow for Excel/PDF exports of the report for each bottom level member of a selected department dimension parent member. (Note we renamed the entity dimension "department").

However, I want the user to be able to pick the parent department in the POV that will have all selections printed. This doesn't seem possible as "Print All Selections" prints every member defined by the report designer. The best I can do is set the POV member selection to the bottom level members of a user variable. This would allow a user to set the selections to be shown in the report, but they have to change the user variable in a form that utilizes that variable or in the user preferences page. Both of these options are not
