Auto assign open shift not working in workforce scheduling

Summary:

Hello,

We have uploaded workload plan with our requirements of employees for a shift.

The shifts are displayed as open shifts when a schedule manager creates a schedule. When i click the option Assign Open Shifts, nothing happens.

How can i assign open shifts to employees?
What criteria is required so that open shifts are assigned to employees having the same job mentioned in the workload plan.
