Assign Learning Path / don't accept past completions for courses

Summary:
We are using Redwood Learning paths. Is there a way to assign a Learning Path to a user, and ensure that their past completions of content/activities inside the path don't count toward the new assignment?

Scenario: Learning Path 2027 contains courses that some users may have completed in the past. But when we assign Learning Path 2027, those past course completions should not count toward the path assignment. Those courses need to be taken again.
