Send a notification to approval group only when a journal approval is rejected

Hello,

We have a requirement to send a notification to a specific group of users only when an approval workflow encounters an error (we don't need to send a notification for successfull approvals).

We attempted to use an FYI routing rule, but it does not appear to be working as expected for this scenario.

Could you please advise on the recommended approach to achieve this requirement?
