Intercompany Periods – Bulk Period Open/Close Automation Requirement

Summary:

We have a requirement to open/close Intercompany Periods in bulk as part of our period-close process. We have more than 200 Intercompany Transaction Types and currently the period status needs to be managed for each transaction type. Performing this activity manually for 200+ transaction types is time-consuming and is causing delays in the period-close process.

We are looking for an Oracle-supported solution to automate or perform the Intercompany Period Open/Close activity in bulk. We have also explored Functional Setup Manager Export/Import, but the import is failing with the error: "Insert Failed, due to unique value constraint".

Could you please advise the recommended Oracle solution or approach to perform this activity in bulk for multiple Intercompany Transaction Types? Please advise if there is any supported automation, Web Service, API, import mechanism, or other Oracle functionality that can be used to achieve this requirement.
