Supply Planning Plan Run Taking Longer After Enabling Attribute-Based Netting Rules

We have enabled Attribute-Based Netting Rules in Supply Planning. After enabling this feature, the plan engine is taking significantly longer to complete the plan run.

Is this expected behavior when Attribute-Based Netting Rules are enabled? Are there any recommended configuration or performance optimization guidelines to reduce the plan run time?
