How to automatically move a candidate from RMI to Background Check Initiated?

Hi All,

We have a requirement in Oracle Recruiting.

When an external candidate submits the information requested through RMI (Request More Information), we want the candidate to automatically move from RMI to Background Check Initiated.

Currently, the candidate remains in the RMI state even after submitting the requested information.

We tried using a Fast Formula as a Move Condition for the Background Check Initiated state, but the candidate is not moving automatically.

Could you please help us understand :

  • What is the correct configuration for this requirement?
  • Should we use the Request for Information Updated event?
  • Do we need a Fast Formula to check whether the candidate has submitted the requested information?
