Course Curriculum Search Component

Has anyone experienced users able to access user licensed course curriculum provided by Taleo/Course curriculum vendor through the "search" component? I thought that if you mapped those users only licensed to use the designated course within a "group" in order to isolate accessibility to that user through the "group filter" feature region that that would trigger no other users accessibility to that user licensed course.
