How to Set Invoice Transaction Date and Accounting Date to Actual Invoice Creation Date in order

Summary: How to Set Invoice Transaction Date and Accounting Date to Actual Invoice Creation Date for One-Time and Recurring Billing?

We have a requirement in Oracle Fusion Order Management to ensure that the invoice transaction date and accounting date match the actual date on which the invoice is created, for both one-time and recurring billing sales orders.

  1. One-Time Billing Example:

16th October 2026, we create a one-time sales order for a contract period from 1st May to 1st July 2026.

  • Contract/service period: 1st May to 1st July 2026
Single Invoice created for all Months-
  • Invoice transaction date: Derived from the historical billing period: 1st May to 1st July

Howdy, Stranger!
