Oracle Fusion AR – Add Attachments to Existing Receipts Without Granting Receipt Reversal Privilege

We have a requirement to allow AR users to create receipts and add attachments after the receipts have been saved, without granting access to reverse or modify existing receipts.

Currently, users can create receipts and view them after saving. However, the attachment option is read-only when reopening an existing receipt.

We tested the following privileges:

Privilege	Result
AR_CREATE_RECEIVABLES_RECEIPT_PRIV	Allows receipt creation but not adding attachments after saving.
FND_MANAGE_APPLICATION_ATTACHMENT_PRIV	Did not enable attachment editing on existing receipts.
AR_MANAGE_RECEIVABLES_RECEIPT_PRIV	Enables attachment editing but also grants broader receipt-management capabilities, including reversal.
