Returned from maternity and Retro SMP costing is incorrect

in Payroll and Global Payroll Interface (GPI)

When Maternity End date is Changed, the retro is re-calculating all the run results again and retro costing as a new entry again.
employee has returned form Maternity and retro costing on SMP is incorrect and its not affecting any Payment.
Could you please help us why the retro costing is recalculating all the costing details since start of maternity dates if maternity end date is changed, that's not ideal, could you please us on this?
