Receipt Accounting without Cost Accountant role: minimum privileges to avoid licence consumption?
in Costing
Hello everyone,
We're implementing Oracle Fusion Procurement (Self-Service Procurement + Purchasing) for a customer with no SCM / Inventory licences. Users create receipts in SSP, and we need receipt accounting (accruals, distributions, transfer to GL) to work end to end.
What we observed:
- With the Receipt Accounting role alone (ORA_CMR_RECEIPT_ACCOUNTING_DISCRETIONARY), the step of the process does not run:"Create Receipt Accounting Distributions"
- Adding the Cost Accountant role (ORA_CST_COST_ACCOUNTANT_JOB) makes everything work.
Our questions:
- Has anyone set up receipt accounting for a Procurement-only customer (no SCM licences)? Which roles did you assign?
- Did you build a custom role (Receipt Accounting + only the missing privileges) to avoid licence consumption? If so, which privileges did you need to add?
