User Can Create Transactions Despite Only Approval Privileges Being Assigned

Summary:

We have created a role specifically for transaction approval and assigned only the following privileges:

  • AR_APPROVE_RECEIVABLES_TRANSACTION_PRIV
  • AR_FORCE_APPROVE_RECEIVABLES_TRANSACTION_PRIV

The role does not inherit from any other role, and no additional privileges have been added. Furthermore, the user has no other roles assigned apart from this approval role.

Based on this setup, we expected the user to have access only to approve receivables transactions. However, after assigning the role, the user is still able to create transactions, receipts, and perform other Accounts Receivable activities.

Please advise why the user is receiving these additional permissions when only the above two privileges have been granted and no other roles are assigned?
