ERP Fusion - BIP reports are slow

in Fusion Applications Administration

Hi Experts,

Recently we went Live and no complaints on application performance & ESS job processing but BIP reports are slow.

Is there anything in first place customer end can take a step to improve performance of BIP reports?

Also we see ESS job "Gather Table Statistics" is this help to gather stats and improve performance or irrelevant ?
