How can the asset hierarchy in Maintenance Management be inherited from a Manufacturing Work Order?

Summary:

We know that an asset can be created automatically in Maintenance Management when a work order is executed in the Manufacturing module.

When we select an item with a BOM defined in PIM, the Manufacturing work order shows both the finished good and its components during creation and execution. However, those components do not appear in the asset hierarchy in Maintenance Management.

We can see the assets created in Maintenance Management: the finished good has Location Type = Inventory, while the components have Location Type = Work Center.

Why are the components created as assets but not included in the finished good’s asset hierarchy?
