We need guidance on restricting manager candidates in the Redwood Change Manager action according to an HR Liaison’s existing Area of Responsibility (AOR).

The requirement is for liaisons to select managers only from their authorized department groups, including child departments. Liaisons may cover multiple groups. Designated central HR users must retain organization-wide manager selection.

Issue and findings

The existing HR Liaison role uses a Person Security Profile secured by AOR and organization hierarchy for department. Access-preview testing correctly included employees within the authorized scope and excluded the tested employees outside it.
