Priority Order of Taxes Taken - Is there a place we can see or control tax withholding order?
We are noticing that the order in which our federal, state, and local taxes are deducted from associates seems not to align with the expected order from our tax team.
There are some W4 scenarios where this comes into play.
Expected Order:
- Social Security
- Medicare
- Local Tax
- State Tax
- Federal Tax
Is there a place where we can control that order in the system? Or, if not controllable, is there an area in the documentation that shows what order it is configured as?
