SSL Certificate Key Size 4096

We are in the process of renewing our SSL certificate and the RSA key size being generated by default in Eloqua is 2048.

Due to security certifications that require a different key size, our IT department has requested a change to the RSA key size from 2048 to 4096. They noted that this has become a security compliance issue. Is it possible to generate the 4096 CSR for the SSL certificate renewal outside of the current process? is it possible to use our own CSR and provide the public and private key in pem file format?

According to an SR I opened, it is not currently possible, but some sources online suggest that it should be possible by opening an SR and getting the key updated on the back end. Can this be confirmed? Since this is a requirement of higher security, is this something that can be added as an option on future CSR generation in Eloqua?
