Termination Approval Workflow: Multiple HR Representatives Assigned Through AOR

Hi Oracle Community,

We would like to clarify the behavior of the Termination approval workflow when multiple HR Representatives match the same employee through Area of Responsibility (AOR).

Our Termination approval flow includes the following approval levels:

Line Manager → Management Hierarchy → HR Representative → HRIS Approver

For the HR Representative approval level, the approver is determined based on AOR.

Our scenario is:

• The employee belongs to a specific department.
• More than one HR Representative has an active AOR covering that department.
• Both HR Representatives appear to meet the applicable AOR criteria.

Could you please clarify the following:

1. When multiple HR Representatives match the AOR criteria, how does Oracle determine which HR Representative receives the approval?
