Moving an hours-based accrual plan to days from next leave year (reimplementation)

We’re looking to move our annual leave from an hours-based plan to days from the start of the next leave year. From the Oracle docs, we can't just change the unit of measure on the existing plan once people are enrolled and have accruals against it, so we're planning to treat it as a reimplementation with a new days-based plan alongside the old one, then switch old one off.

Things I'm being mindful of so far:

• End-dating enrolments on the old hours plan and enrolling everyone in the new days plan from the leave year start
