Mapping invoice import email content to invoice fields

Can information included in the subject or body of an invoice import email be extracted and mapped to fields in the imported invoice?

For example, we would like to include an invoice number or description in the email and populate the corresponding invoice fields automatically.

Please clarify whether this is supported, which fields can be populated, and whether any configuration or specific email format is required. If the email and attached PDF contain different values, please also explain which value takes precedence.
