REST API: How to Identify Inline Reusable Article Content in Article Response Body?

edited Nov 2, 2026 7:00PM in Knowledge

Summary:

Hello,

I'm working with the Oracle Service Cloud Knowledge REST API to retrieve articles, and I need to identify which portions of an article's contentBody contain reusable article content.

Current Situation:

  • When I retrieve an article via REST, the contentBody returns as plain text/HTML
  • I can see in the UI that reusable articles appear as dotted rectangular boxes within the editor

However, in the REST response, I cannot distinguish which text segments came from reusable articles

Question: Is there a REST response field, markup, or metadata that indicates inline reusable article boundaries within an article's body?

For example:

Howdy, Stranger!
