Feasibility Assessment – Bulk CSV Upload via VBCS to ATP

Summary:

We are currently assessing the feasibility of a requirement to allow users to upload CSV files through a VBCS page, load the data into ATP, and display the uploaded records in a table within the application.

The CSV files may contain 1 million or more rows, with approximately 10 columns per row, and file sizes ranging from 110 MB to 200 MB.

Since OCI Object Storage would involve additional costs, we would prefer to avoid it.

From a stability and performance perspective, my recommendation is to provide users access to a dedicated directory on OIC SFTP, where they can upload the files. OIC can then process the files and load the data into ATP.
