Difficulty with "Blind" Careers Web Site

edited Sep 29, 2011 9:56AM in Taleo Business Edition (TBE)

Content

I created a "Blind Posting" CWS with all identifying information stripped from the Requisition and Careers page (i.e. to keep the posting anonymous). As part of this process, I removed the ability for a Returning Applicant to log in.   I removed the returning applicant section from the blind posting CWS because our Taleo account is hard coded with our company’s information, and any “forgot password” requests would result in an email from “our company”.

However, this presents us with the difficulty of repeat applicants (i.e. applicants who are interested in more than one position) being unable to apply to Requisitions on the “blind” CWS.  On the blind CWS, our "repeat applicants" do not know they are applying to our company again until they try to create a username and password, and then they receive a message that indicates a user already exists with the email address they have entered.  At that point, the applicant can retrieve their password, an email is sent to them from our company.  This destroys my intent to post confidentially.

Howdy, Stranger!
