Migrating to Multi. Org From Single Org

 We are planing to migrate/moving to Multi. org from single org environment, in single org (XXX Corp) environment we are using AP, GL, AR, FA, CM, HRMS, Payroll, OTL. we are planing to enable Multi-org and create 2 new Orgs, (OU) along with our orignal (XXX Corp) so end of the there will 3 OU pointing to Corp. SOB,- My question is Do we have create a new org for the (XXX Corp) as well in a multi. Org structure Or all we have to do is to create 2 new org (OU, ......) and point them to Corp SOB.
