What is the significance of attribute "GENERATED_CCID" in OM COGS workflow?

Hi,

We are trying to customize the COGS workflow & we are trying to understand the significance of the attribute "GENERATED_CCID" in OM COGS workflow. Could anyone through some in-sight into this please?
