Differences between Receipts Localized & Claim modvat on Receipts

 Dear Friends    I would like to know the differences between the two Receipts Localized   & Claim modvat on Receipts.
Normally when corrections are carried out on MRRs the latter transaction is more convenient to look at in terms of the correct  Modvat to be claimed.
