truncate WF_DEFFERED table

 Hi All we have production 11.5.10.2 with 9.2.0.6 , we are about to truncate WF_DEFFERD table which has about 7 GB
but when starting (workflow agent listener) ,it makes the APPS_DATA & APPS_INDX full of data and can't be reduced
and the data in this table is still as it

please if you could help in this issue I'll be very appreciated
