Unable to select 'Excise in RG23D' check box in the Additional Information for an inventory organiza

Hi,

We are not able to check the check box 'Excise in RG23D' under the trading info tab for an existing inventory org for India. Are we missing any setups? Or, is it not possible to select this option for an existing inventory org?  The error message is 'FRM-40200: Field is protected against update'.

Any help is appreciated.
