Virtual Approver

 The Virtual Approver is provided an Approval Rule Set prior to processing an 'approval' action.  Each time an approver submits their approval action the APPR_RULE_VW is used to populate the APPR_WRK_01 page with the max(EFFDT) Approval Rule Set which is less than or equal to the current date.  If a MODIFICATION is made to an Approval Rule Set which changes the number of Step/Path approvers there is no way to tell the Virtual Approver to use the 'PREVIOUS' version of the modified Approval Rule Set for Approval Instance Logs that were created prior to the 'NEW' modifications and to use
