Can NACHA CCD File Format be used for Direct Debit?

 We are in the process of implementing Direct Debit Bank Interface to Bank of America. In generating the EFT Files, we have the option to generate the file in UFF (Universal File Format). Our Financial Institute (Bank of America) has indicated that they have customers that use the delivered PeopleSoft Direct Debit NACHA CCD File Format. I would like to inquire about this and find out if using this file format is available in your delivered layouts.
I only know how to use UFF but I am not sure if CCD is possible and if so would like to ask if you have any info to share
