Directory Server - VLV indexing hangs
Hi,
I'm trying to set up DSEE7.0 as a Solaris name services directory. All is well except for the browsing indexes (VLV indexes). When I try to generate the indexes, the command starts but then appears to freeze or hang:
$ /opt/dsee7/bin/dsadm reindex -l -t example.net.au.getgrent /var/opt/dsee7/sunldap dc=example,dc=net,dc=au
[23/Nov/2009:11:25:52 +0800] - example: Indexing VLV: example.net.au.getgrent
[23/Nov/2009:11:25:52 +0800] - example: Indexed search unsuccessful, will perform unindexed search instead.
[23/Nov/2009:11:25:52 +0800] - example: Index buffer bucket size: 0
[23/Nov/2009:11:25:53 +0800] - example: Processing 1000 entries (37%).
It just sits there forever with no disk or CPU activity. If I Ctrl-C it terminates immediately.
