AutoApproved Notifications are Stuck

Experts,

I am somewhat new to workflow in Oracle EBS R11.5.10.2.  We currently have an issue where Auto-Approved notifications are stuck in workflow resulting in transfer items stuck in process.  The 2nd notification was sent for transfer submitted on March 12th and 14th but the auto-approve did not occur due to an ORA error.  We fixed the root cause of the error.  Then, we Bounced the WF Mailer but the errored work items are still there.

 

Do I need to configure a Background Engine for (to retry) Stuck work items?  How can I setup a Concurrent Request in 11i to periodically Retry Stuck work items?
