[ARUPDATE] Cleaning up ARUPDATE Abends

We're sharing another question here in the community so other people with similar issue can view it:
QUESTION:
My users encountered an ARUPDATE abend. I have already corrected the problem but now how do I allow users to re-use ARUPDATE abended/corrupted Run Control IDs?
