tcpListenDrop
Hello,
I see a very high and keep increasing number of tcpListenDrop on Solaris 10 node.
kstat-p.output: tcp:0:tcp:listenDrop 610593
On a similar node with exact same hardware/software/network stack in the same time:
kstat-p.out: tcp:0:tcp:listenDrop 4
It seems like there was a period of time where clients outside of
this system failed to connect the node/application with high tcpListenDrop
the system has been up for 200 days so this stats accumulated over time
but when the application problem was reported the counter was going up.
What this could be indicative of? How could I further investigate it?
