Turn On Salary Over Maximum Range Warning in MSS Workflow Builder

Hello - I'm new to Workflow Builder.  I need to turn on the salary over maximum range warning in Manager Self Service.  I know you can set a hard stop or a soft warning but I do not know where to make this change.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?  Thank you.
