Timer in workflows

 Hi All,

we are using AME for our Purchase Requisition approvals. We have a requirement to forward notifications when it sits for more than 3 days on any approvers plate.

Is there a way to accomplish this in AME? Or is it done by modifying the underlying core workflow and if so how? Please suggest.
